Love yourself – the first step to empower yourself

Have you ever thought about your favorite pastime? It can be anything, anything which gives you happiness. For example: having popcorn while watching movie; hitting to the beach and enjoying nature; talking to your friend; taking a hot shower after a long tiring day; shopping etc. Have you ever taken the time to learn something you like? It can be to learn how to dance; how to sing; nail art painting; swimming; how to run a small side business etc.
Of course you must have thought about it. But how many times did you step out from your schedule and made it a reality? It is very important to find time to do something you truly like. You might be wondering why? Let me tell you why.
You will have a very special meeting with the most important person in your life -“YOU”
Yes, you are the most important person in your life. Love yourself. Take care of yourself. Eat healthy. Prepare your schedule. Have dreams and dream big. Hope for the best. Because if you are energetic and in good health, you can live your life with more joy. You can love your loved ones in many ways. You can take them to great heights. You can help yourself as well as your loved ones achieve goals.
You will come to know what next step you need to take for your career or whatsoever you are doing
Many times it happens that you decide to do something but then it goes away from your mind because of your tight schedule or your responsibility towards your family. You are surrounded by negativity which doesn’t hold the positive energy to push you towards your goal. But if you force yourself to take time to talk to yourself daily, then you will come to know how far you need to go and how far you have come already. And it will help find out what you really want to do.
You will know yourself better
You know that you are a good worker; you know that you cook good food. You know that you take care of your family very well. But how did you come to know about all your strengths? Because people around you have noticed them and said it to you. But who is supposed to know you the best if not yourself? You don’t need judgments; prepare yourself a list of your strengths that you know you have because you have experienced them. Believe me you will surprise by the result.
It will give you an opportunity to explore and learn things which can help you make life more beautiful
Try to summarize your day before you go to bed. Write down one new thing you have learnt during the day. Write down one thing which made you smile during the day, and make it a must necessity activity before bed. It will help you see how much you learn every day, how capable you are and how happy you can be when you love yourself.
